“Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father.” 1 Thessalonians 1:3
Sometimes we think of Sunday school as a time for children to learn Bible stories, but it’s for adults as well. It is a time to learn from the Word of God and to learn how to apply its principles in our lives.
In addition to classes for nursery age through teens, we have different adult classes called DIG classes. "DIG" is an acronym that stands for "Delighting In God." We want to increase our delight in our God as we "dig" into His Word! Each quarter, new studies begin such as Proverbs, Bible Doctrines, Biblical Finances, Biblical Counseling, the Book of Job, Baptist History, and The Joy of Encouragement.
The DIG classes for Fall of 2019 are as follows:
This class is designed to provide solid teaching,
powerful online tools and hands-on practical
experience to help you learn to master your
finances. You will examine powerful tools to
build a plan, eliminate debt, save and invest. This
study will help you commence a journey that has
the potential to change your life, not just your
finances. Young adults will find this class
particularly helpful, but it is also valuable for
Everyone is part of a family! How do you assess
your role as a son or daughter, brother or sister,
mom or dad, uncle or aunt, grandpa or grandma?
How can you build relationships in your family?
Are there principles that can help you raise your
children? What about singles? How can
grandparents impact the next generation? How
can you foster the most edifying relationships
with others? These are some of the questions
that we plan to address in this class designed for
Abraham Lincoln said, “I believe the Bible is the
best gift God has ever given to man.” Why such a
statement? In this class, you’ll see why the Bible
is so great! You’ll gain an understanding of the
theme that runs throughout its pages. You’ll also
learn how to study it on your own. Most
importantly, you’ll learn about how its timeless
truths apply to you today.
